Testimonials
  1. It’s action, comedy, a scathing indictment of animal agriculture, but mostly, it’s the classic friendship tale of a girl and her pig. An evil corporation with good PR makes “super-pig” Okja the face of their company, dragging Okja’s human companion Mija into the mix. Meanwhile, animal liberationists hatch a plan to expose the evils of animal agriculture, but fail to take in to account some key factors.

It’s simultaneously heartwarming and thought-provoking, and very, very funny.

  2. A harrowing tale of connection and compassion, showing the lengths we’ll go to protect the ones we love. The cold machine of factory farming and the narrative of “progress” over meaningful growth is the villain of this coupled with the complacency of industry and consumers alike. A rescue mission unlike anything you’ve seen before that will have you laughing, cheering, crying and hopefully bonding with the titular Okja. 10/10
